At Pasadena Refining (PRSI) we are truly excited about our future. We are
an independent Refining facility in Pasadena, Texas strategically located on the
Houston Ship Channel with an approximate 120,000 barrel per day refining capacity.
Initially acquired by Astra Holding USA, Inc from Crown Central Petroleum, we have
forged ahead with changes in management and culture to create an environment that
fosters success.

Recently, Astra announced that it has approved an agreement to enter a 50% partnership
with Petrobras on their Pasadena, Texas refinery, known as Pasadena Refining System.
The partnership encompasses the operation of the refinery and a trading company
that will also function in conjunction with the refinery. Both entities will
be under the joint direction of Astra and Petrobras. The partnership will
utilize Petrobras technology to convert 70,000 barrels per day of capacity to process
Marlim crude, which will be supplied by Petrobras. |
